I myself used to go first with Sketch app or Figma, but with AI you get immediate visual gratification so iteration is possible to act as a product architect and drive the intention into something you feel good to use. Designer is a vue library which provides editing of predefined templates ( screens – left top side panel in the attached screens ), the designer is actually a template set editor. I need to mention first that architecture skill is nice to have from my point of view mostly when AI doesn’t know your vision yet not a must. With architecture skill you can build components and strategies in Vue so that the outcome is as intended. Providing a sort of direction with software architecture makes it easier long term, which means completion of what you want to do or the difference between proof of concept and the actual product you foresee.

Having the architecture skill and adopting S.O.L.I.D principles makes it easy in later heavy changes also, this ui is my first app built with Vue, about which I was distant but when I actually started doing in it somehow got their headlline “The Progressive
JavaScript Framework” and with agents it is enjoyable. Refactoring is still required as you go forward and so you can do that yourself fined tuned within the code which agents can also do if you’ve got the knowhow so you can provide clear prompt. So if you are that kind of developer who have the vision but phew to much of work then AI is your alien level tool, personally as a polyglot and architect, wiring an app like this is like painting or doing puzzles. This ui is built entirely by AI, and you can use within Vue app by installing it with npm install @aham.ro/ui-designer, the repository also have a Rust library for parsing and validation.

If you want to test the ui designer library, and need a backend check this out, is where I actually use the designer for providing templates for Oauth2 authorization flows and emails, a open-source project you can find here. Why I sense a need to talk about use of AI within the code is because of a question like what state of using AI I should be in? This question relates with a document found about on youtube, that you can find at: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2609.03344 • Large-Language Models as a Cognitive Virus • and is related with the sate of using AI, which I personally am comfortable with C.

Useful insights I had as I was steering ai in building ui-designer where mostly of architectural ( possibility biased ), things like setting up Pinia stores for decoupling data from views and making views have single responsibility, that way was easy to consume data in different views without messing it up. This post is not about how awesome Vue is, because you might know that already, the amazing story here is the way of developing SPA with AI, you get a tremendous speed and you are like I am staying my own way in living my dream? Or why I act like I don’t want what I want? Am I afraid that if I get what I want I get dissatisfied? So these kind of question arise and shifting further is actually to envelop the product you do and give it a buffer as you diverse your skills like marketing. Rather than direction, enjoying the journey as you keep it real is essential, you can also practice renunciation of the fruits of your actions or at least not get attached to outcome.

Whatever you see on iam.aham.ro where the ui-designer is initially used is built with mit license, you can contribute if you feel like. Having it built with AI in such short time span contribution for now is in sharing tokens I think, otherwise maybe security fixes and features that you might want for your apps. Thank you
